Yeyo Single Barrel Tropical Reposado Barrel #2

Highland agave, roasted for 72 hours in brick ovens, after fermentation allowed to rest while listening to Spanish classical music for 200 hours, then twice distilled on a copper pot still.  

Our single barrel of Yeyo's reposado was one the tastiest tequilas I had last year.  And they're back with more!  This time around there are two releases - Traditional and Tropical.

The Tropical is aged for seven months in barrels that previously held five different runs of rums, imparting flavors of woody notes, caramel, vanilla, coconut, cinnamon, and nutmeg.  Fourteen barrels were produced and we got our hands on some of Barrel #2.
