Dingle, Scotland
50.5% ABV
Triple distilled Irish Whiskey Matured in Bourbon Casks with a Rye Cask Finish.
"The Irish Dingle distillery was founded in 2012 by the three brewers Oliver Hughes, Liam LaHart, and Peter Mosley. The Lá le Bríde Single Malt Whiskey was triple distilled and matured in bourbon barrels before finishing in rye casks. The Lá le Bríde Irish Festival is an Irish event to honor spring and warmer days. The Dingle Distillery's 'Wheel of the Year' series is based on the Celtic wheel of the year. The solar calendar, divided into eight sections, shows the time and the seasons. For each section, Dingle releases a limited edition Single Malt."
Three independent spirits conceived the Dingle Distillery; Oliver Hughes, Liam LaHart, and Peter Mosley in the town of Dingle, Co. Kerry, in the west of Ireland. It came into being in the winter of 2012. The town of Dingle is unique in that it resides at the far western edge of Europe. As a result, the distillery benefits from the gentle breezes generated by the Gulf Stream and a moist maritime microclimate. Three distinctive copper pot stills created by whisky legend John McDougal are used to achieve Dingle Single Malt’s unique flavor profile.
